My name is Brian shawn McKilligan and i was looking for some info on my family history.?

I have been told we are all the way Irish but i can't seem to find anything on us. I Find our crest but there are 2 different ones. Our motto is supposed to be "don't touch the cat bot a glove" but I see that is a Macintosh Scottish crest as well. I would like any info on "The McKilligans" if anyone has any at all that would be awesome. I would also like to have that motto translated into Gaelic. If anyone knows how to do that it would be a mive help. Thanks so much
