My cat has a really awful sore (pic included) what is it?

My cat had this. She is a indoor cat only. It looked like it was from fighting with one of the other cats. I was guessing. I really dont know what it was. I do know she scratched it incessantly. But that was all. She had more than one at one point. but it never presented with the obvious ring like ring worm. and it was weird. I never found out what it was because I just put antiobiotic salve on it (?... is that what you have done and that is why it looks shiney in the pic or is it weeping?) and it went away on its own. It did it twice and its been 6 months or so now since the last episode. I didnt feel it was life threatening and it did respond to the antiobiotic salve. If it had not I would have gone to the vet as well. Dont let Percy get to you. He/She says rude things alot. Half of what he/she says usually makes good sense and I respect that half and the rest is just rudeness. I think they must have been at this a long time and has become jaded and cant see when they are over the line. I am sorry on there behalf for offending you. and Percy dont snap at me. Its true you were rude. Im not trying to be rude to you. I think you usually know what you are talking about but just dont know how to talk to people in a way to get them to see your point of view. People do not relate to insults. and then anything good you may want them to hear is lost on deaf ears. The lack of a vehicle had nothing to do with this persons cat question and you didnt stay on point. Let it go.and try and be more helpful in a appropriate manner. or as my husband says to our children if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all. I understand the need to respond to people who are coming off as if they are not taking care of there pet and that pisses you off clearly as I have read many many of your posts,like tracing URL's ect. but this person simply has done nothing to deserve it. ok enough said.
